The journey into  motherhood may unfold differently than what you expected.


Getting pregnant, the pregnancy, the delivery and the period afterwards may turn out differently than what you hoped for. Maybe getting pregnant will not work. You may feel depressed and anxious during or after your pregnancy. You may have had unpleasant experiences during your pregnancy or delivery. Psychological help can contribute to the emotional processing of it.


Now you have become a mother you may not feel the same anymore about the life you once lived. You feel you have changed and the world you used to live in has stayed the same. The fulfillment you once got out of your job has changed and you are looking for new ways to live a fulfilling life. Or you would like to experience more balance between work and your family life. I'm Carine Godri

I am the founder of Caring Psychology. I am a licensed psychologist, coach and mindfulness trainer. I love to guide you in the transitional phase of motherhood. I am here to help you heal, to recover and to find new ground to stand on.


I guide you into more aligned decision making for your life and your family, to live a fulfilled life whatever that may look like for you, to take care of yourself, to be the example you want to be for yourself, your children, your partner and to get the results you want in your life.


In a  non-judgmental, caring, kind, compassionate and clear way I guide you through this transformation. I hold the space for you to explore, to learn, to heal and to grow.

Carine is so different from other therapists or mindfulness teachers that I’ve met.

Maybe it’s her own experience that enhances the information she provides. And she also gives a lot of theory and facts, behind all the emotions and bodily sensations. And with the q&a there was room for interaction and she was able to react to the info each time, improvising. So all the participants were able to vent their thoughts and emotions, but in return she provided us with the knowledge and homework behind it. I love all the info. Thank you!

I recommend the course. It is a ‘hands on’ approach. So room to share your feelings, but certainly homework to do and you need time and space to do this.
